comments WIllys M38 A1( 1960) . This vehicle is ex Dutch army and was
first registered in UK in 1995. It is in excellent condition having been
garaged for the last 12 years. The engine has been rebuilt , regulator
rebuilt, all brakes renewed , water pump renewed and many other jobs have
been carried out to keep the vehicle in road worthy condition. I have
had it MOTd every year and just used it occassionally during summer months.

¼ ton 4 WD General Purpose Truck
Original, numbers matching 4 cylinder 60hp, 134ci L-head (Go-Devil) engine.
Early SLAT GRILLS had no glove box, they had a round muffler, oil bath
air cleaner and filter, rubber hood bumpers, solid wheels, piano hinges
in the tool box lids, three bolts spare tire carrier, no blackout driving
lamps, no gas can holder, makers name embossed on the rear panel and a
slat grill on the Willys. Only 200 slat grills are estimated to have survived
through 2006, according to Army Motors, the official magazine of the Military
Vehicle Preservation Assoc.
The last Willys Slat Grill was S/N 125807, this is S/N 124833 and was
delivered to the US Army on March 5, 1942. Full restoration was completed
2009 and she has appeared at hanger dances, parades, Veteran's Day events,
air shows, USO shows. It is a show vehicle, not a ramble through the brambles
and the bushes jeep. Comes complete with 48 star flag, all canvas top,
shovel and axe attached to side, upgraded brakes (1954 Ford), a 12 volt
electronic ignition system, and a copy of a M1 automatic carbine for the
dash. Two 1942s, not as nice as this, recently sold at Barrett Jackson
for $60,000 and $42,000.

comments 1943 FORD GPW older restoration that was just finished up. Jeep
Runs and drives like new. The jeep was restored with a mix of Many original,
Many NOS, and very few reproduction parts. The jeep has SIX combat rims
all with ford script tires one of the TWO spare tires is actually a WW2
factory original ford tire with ford beadlocks. All the lights work including
the panel lights. The GPW motor is rebuilt with basically no miles and
the transmission transfer case are government rebuilds NOS from the crate.
The jeep has new beechwood canvas top and seats. The seats themselves
are all f script original. Nearly all parts that should be, are Ford script.
Including the NOS Ford battery cables, pintle, repo battery, and even
some of the NOS BO lights. The body and frame are original. The front
bumper even has the wood block. The body is in good shape and has a very
nice patina from older paint, but there are some noticeable scrapes, chips,
repairs and areas of body filler. Overall this is very nice, very complete
running driving jeep with tons of high end and NOS parts. Don't miss your
chance to own this very nice piece of history.
