comments For Sale - 1943 WWII Willy's Jeep and trailer. Runs great, ready
to drive. Was restored to original condition 10 years ago, frame off.
Needs paint touched up and seat cushions replaced. Must see!
Comes with the following: Original combat wheels; new tires; hand pump;
engine crank; radio antenna-extensions missing; 2 original jerry cans;
tow bar; fire extinguisher; blackout lights; gun mount for windshield;
pick ax; shovel-all original. Under the hood is all original-nothing missing.
Also have a box of misc. parts-guages, hose clamps, etc.
Every barring, seal, bushing, nut, bolt, washer has been replaced or restored.
Engine-New main berrings. Had it rebuilt at a professional shop. Axels
and tranny all gone through. This jeep has been sitting in the weather
for 5 years. Canvas top is present but if intending to accomplish full
restoration I'd recommend replacing all canvas and windshield rubber.
This is a perfect vehicle for someone interested in restoring without
having to do mechanical work. I paint cars for a living; the body's rust
has been completely removed and new metal has been welded in place; wood
bracing has also been replaced with heavier tube metal, side steps, fenders,
etc. There are a few dings/dents but all metal is there.
If you'd prefer to purchase the vehicle fully restored, I am asking $15,000.
Or, if you'd rather enjoy the restoration project, then my asking price
is $10,000 or best offer. Either price includes the trailer unrestored.
Right now it's hard times and money talks. Have photo album of full restoration
of vehicle in 2003.

comments 1945 Willy's GPW(Ford built Jeep) Runs great, shifts great, brakes
good, steering in excellent shape. I use it to go get groceries. 6V, unsealed
distributor/generator/starter, original rear seat, headlights work. Engine/frame/title
VIN #'s match. Aftermarket chrome air breather, new radiator, good battery,
minor rust. Still has shovel head strap and axe sheath. Ignition and electric
fuel pump wired to toggle switch. No dataplates/tool latches/can carrier/blackout
lights/jumper plug. Has tire mount and saddle plus all the original holes
for tool latches and handles. Cross member under grill is bent pretty
good, but not ruined. Front and rear bumper's are channel iron.
Grill is not original, vinyl top and doors are aftermarket, bass fishing
chairs replace front seats. A/C, CD player, and seat belts have been removed?
We stripped several coats of paint and the primer to metal looking for
rust. Cleaned engine, differentials, tranny and wheel wells. Found some
rust behind fenders and at the sides by your feet. Adjusted brakes, tuned
engine, rebuilt shifter guide plate in tranny.
Perfect if you want to rebuild a military Jeep because your not just painting
a CJ green. Built early in 1945 for WWII it still has olive green underneath.
Ford differentials are heavy compared to MB version.
$4500 US dollars gets title signed over to you and you can drive it home.
