He did some background checking of the buyer via his own bank and the web and discovered the forgery in time!...A reminder to stay on your guard when you're buying or selling.

comments 1945 Willys MB. The engine was rebuilt in 1996 and has less than 1000 miles on it. A lot of work was done from 1992 to 1996 including fuel lines, rear springs and shocks, paint inside tub and more. It has spent some time outside since, but still looks and runs good. A wheel cylinder or two has gone and therefore doesn't have any brakes. There is a top, a tool kit, fire extinguisher and more.

comments my jeep is an extensive and painstaking restoration begun 13 year ago just as I was leaving the air force. It is a 1945 MB - every part of the chassis and drive-train was completely rebuilt. The engine was rebuilt and balanced, the transmission rebuilt, the entire brake system replaced, the lines being carefully bent using the originals as patterns. The master cylinder was sleeved with brass so as to last forever. I even found a "tar-top" battery for that perfect engine compartment! The body tub is finished - with careful attention to preserving the many seams and spot welds an original jeep should show. I have original instruments, orig reflectors and lenses, a tool kit, and other accessories, five restored combat wheels, 6-ply Denman USA tires, Beechwood canvas seats -- and it goes on and on! I bought every NOS part that came along starting back in 1993!! I have the NOS field kit for adding vacuum windshield wipers - every thing from the manifold fitting to the tips of the wiper blades! Even the rifle scabbard is NOS!
I even have several gallons of NOS correct o.d. green military paint that came from a depot closure at the end of the cold war!
I thought I would own this jeep forever -- and have spent thousands and thousands of dollars -- and many many hundreds of hours carefully restoring even plating on nuts and bolts. This jeep is a big model kit now, the hard work is done - I have gone so incredibly overboard - that I just can't see myself ever finishing it anymore. It has zero miles on it. You finish it - and you enjoy it. But you are going to have to pay a fair price for it!

comments good running GPW jeep needs body work but has already been sandblasted, not much work if you like a USED jeep look, body is very solid has a few spots that needs repair bt 99% original parts, drivertrain is ok and working and engine(geartype) is running smoothly with good oil pressure.
a nice starting project for a first time restoration. not to much mechanical work email me for pictures and details. body is off now and already sandblasted so are all seats and fenders, has F parts, hood is very nice as well as original windshield and inner frame all complet and sandblasted, not much work on that.
radiator is original like New as are grill and headlights. Frame is very nice and many details are there in engine room and on jeep. GP axles , steering, has import papers to holland

Added info 13 Nov.: Many of you have been waiting for ages for my response about this listing. I am very sorry for all the delays.
The Jeep still doesn't run. I had the starter rebuilt, purchased a new battery, got a key made, and replaced an electrical relay. IT DOES TURN OVER! I am sure that it will be running fine without too much more work. I simply have no time or money to get her running, and at the rate I am going, it would be next year. Considering she is sitting out in the weather and I have no place to store her, I decided I had better list her now.

comments We have a 1943 Willys Jeep for sale, 4 wheel drive with flat head engine. Engine runs but missing a breather and 4 wheel drive still works and in good shape. Sheet metal parts that are good are windshield frame. Useable parts are both front fenders, hood, grill and windshield is the original one that came with the jeep and in excellent condition, and not broken or cracked. Windshield frame does not fold down. Tailgate is useable. From windshield back the floor is rusted out and the rear quarters are almost beyond repair.This vehicle can be restored or used for parts. It also Has 16 inch military style wheels and all tires are flat so you cant drive it home. If you buy it please bring a trailer to haul it on. comments 1942 slatgrill script willys mb parts jeep or project. Sheller steering wheel, tool box lids with two hinges. No engine or transmission and wrong running gear. Body is a bit rough but could be saved or has some great donor panels. No body data tags. Frame is solid and frame tag is intact but the engine mounts have been removed as well as the front tubular willys cross member. The grill is in very nice shape but the b/o maker mounts have been removed. Great project or parts.

comments 1943 Willys MB Jeep Rolling Shell . This is a restoration project, imported from California, still retains original markings, used by the USMC then based at the USMC training camp called Camp Pendleton until sold of in 1950, then used in the mountains for hunting. Had been modified to take a V8, some restoration work has been done to the chassis, an engine block and T90 gearbox are included, I must emphasise this is a rolling shell, please email for pictures to sold. Not for the faint hearted but the tub all though well bruised is very solid.

comments I have 1952 willys CJ3B for sale it has been restored, new military tires, trailer hitch, original 4x4 system only thing not original is the seats, roll bar, and signal lights has a plated grenade shift lever knob. Body painted yellow not your average military color but is something most ex military would like i am asking $13000 canadian but am open to offers.
