* DVLA log book states 1961 but from serial number I believe this to
be of 1957 manufacture. Tax exempt, expired March, not curretly MOT'd,

for approx 8 years, but not using it enough to justify keeping it now
and with arrival of recent baby unlikely to apparently. No side screens
but canvas on Jeep and trailer good condition. Dynamo was replaced with

True Slat Grill restored 7 years ago, almost 90% original. Correct tub,
frame, WWII flathead engine, and the rest of drivetrain. Has original
data plates, frame tag, and Willys embossed tub (numbers varified). Currently,
has 32x9 super swamper tires, WWII Combat Wheels and f-head engine. Included
is the original flathead engine that came with it, it ran but may need
to be rebuilt. Could rebuild and installed for additional cost. This jeep
is solid and clean, it needs a little TLC and a few pieces to be complete
which are readily available. It was a labor of love with a great story
for the new owner to share (my great great uncle used it on their farm
after the war). Current pictures are in this email but with the purchse
will be some of the rebuild pics and display board with story of rebuild.
I am selling the Willy's because I have purchased another project car
(1970 AMC Rebel Machine) and my wife said one or the other (she would
rather I keep this Jeep) but The Willy's Jeep will be sold as is for 17k
OBO. Shipping will be at the buyers expense but I would be willing to
go up to 300 miles from the Spokane Washington area for the cost of fuel.

comments My 1944 WW II Jeep is fully restored. The only thing I am having
a problem with is my throw out bearing making noise intermittently. There
is , of course ,no rust. It is equipped with a front capstan winch , powered
off of the crankshaft. It has combat wheels,including the spare tire,
fully operating blackout light system with original dummy-proof light
switch. Original 6 volt system and an original siren. It also has an operational
field radio with a mounted antennae. It is fully marked and and has the
weight rating emblem. The motor runs perfectly and has a new fuel pump
and carburetor as of a year ago.
The cylinder pressures are well within tolerance and the vehicle has never
been abused since restoration. Chassis up.
It has a canvas top and 1/2 doors. ( Mud doors) It also is equipped with
a removable 1917a Browning water cooled Machine Gun. It is of course inoperable,but
is indistinguishable from one that is fully operational.
It also has an original tripod and cradle it is mounted on. Guaranteed
to get you whatever parking place you want.
It was featured in a full page newspaper article and I have entered it
in two car shows and placed second in both against some fierce competition.
Both first place vehicles had over $75,000. Invested in each.
There is a lot more to say about the Jeep but for now that will fill you
in on the particulars. I have $ 16,200. Invested in it and want to sell
it for at least $ 17,500. USD. Don't consider this Jeep if you are shy.
Everywhere you go people gather to look at it and ask you questions. I
have even had people follow me until I stop somewhere to talk to me. It
is a rolling museum piece. I also have numerous accessories and manuals,
books ,etc.,that I can send pictures of. It has approx. 2,200 miles on
it since restoration. Always garaged. My Hummer was not to happy about
being kicked out of its' spot.

Engine, gear box, transfer case, braking system with all new lines and
hoses, wiring loom, original gauges with the majority of NOS parts, including
many Ford stamped parts and bolts. The vehicle has been awarded recognition
for its restoration.
It has been maintained consistently, and garaged since restoration. It
is a 6 volt system and starts instantly. It has currently 4900 miles on

I purchased the Jeep from a person who originally won it at a California
Mule Deer Association dinner. The pans, paint, suspension, wheels, tire,
water pump, fuel pump, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, carburetor,
radiator, battery, wheel bearings, 5 brake cylinders, pads, drums, lines
& much more have been replaced. The Jeep runs excellent. The trailer
has been 100% restored with new wheel bearings, brakes, tires, paint &
lighting. This Jeep is set up for hunting & is ready to hook up &
go. JUST ADD AMMO.

This is a war time Ford jeep. It has its original composite body and fitted
with a Willys (go devil)engine. It has been very lightly civilianised
after spending a short while with the French army who regularly serviced
and finally reconditioned the vehicle. It was sold at auction after being
demobbed in the 60's. It has had two owners from new - has low miles and
excellent mechanics - positive steering good oil pressure with no rattles
or clanks. These are one of the most desirable jeep types about and would
take a small amount of work to return to military configuration. Extremely
reluctant sale and has been very well looked after for its entire life.
Comes with hard top and doors as well as tilt (full canvas set up available)
starting handle, rifle carrier, shovel and axe. 12 months MOT - UK reg
- 12months tax. Bristol Based.

comments 1943 or 1942 willys jeep. this jeep runs good, brakes need to
be adjusted slightly. the body is rusty but sound, the dash and section
where the windshield has a large hole where it was damaged by a loader.

comments Here is a very solid 1942 Willys script California jeep. This
jeep came off of a farm and would be an easy restoration. It has the top
bow set up, new NDT tires, grab handles, etc. It also has loads of early
stuff like pass side fill gear box, split back front seats, early non
